caja-actions-dev software package provides Caja extension to create custom actions (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install caja-actions-dev
caja-actions-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the caja-actions-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep caja-actions-dev *
You will get with caja-actions-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
